Coupon Sites Grew 260 Percent in Netherlands Since Last Year

In the Netherlands, visitation to coupon sites increased by 260 percent since last year, and as of July 2011 attracted nearly 2 million unique visitors, reaching over 16 percent of the online audience in the country. The total time spent on coupon sites increased by 900 percent since July 2010, with every user spending an average of 5 minutes during July 2011.

Since September 2010, Groupon increased its online user base by 185 percent and was the most popular Coupon site in the Netherlands, with 701,000 unique visitors in July 2011.
