Bhatia’s Digital and Television Expertise to Enhance Comscore’s Cross-Media Momentum
RESTON, VA, February 12, 2014 – Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today announced that Manish Bhatia has joined the company in the newly created position of Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. Bhatia will report to Serge Matta, CEO-elect of Comscore. In his new role, Mr. Bhatia will oversee all of Comscore’s commercial teams – including sales, servicing, sales operations and business operations – on a global basis. He will be based in New York.

Most recently, Mr. Bhatia served as Executive Vice President of New Product Innovation at Arbitron, where he focused on developing cross-media products and services which spanned TV, online and mobile platforms. Prior to Arbitron, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Symphony Advanced Media, a Silicon-Valley based startup providing cross-media insights to advertisers. Mr. Bhatia also worked in various roles at Nielsen, most recently serving as President of Nielsen’s Advanced Digital Services, focusing on Set Top Box-based analytics and insights; he also served as President of Nielsen Online. Mr. Bhatia was instrumental in Nielsen’s entry into the online measurement space, as he led NetRatings’ global operations and U.S. sales team, which was fully acquired by Nielsen in 2007. Prior to his role at NetRatings, Mr. Bhatia began his career at Nielsen working with the cable TV networks, and held roles ranging from analyst to Senior Vice President.
A leading voice in the cross-media, digital and television industries, he has spoken at a variety of industry events hosted by organizations such as the Advertising Research Foundation, Interactive Advertising Bureau, ad:tech and ESOMAR, a global association for market, social and opinion research. He holds an MBA in Information Systems from City University of New York and a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Punjab University, India.
