Monster International Leads With Nearly 8 Million European Unique Visitors
LONDON, UK, OCTOBER 30, 2007 – Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released the results of their latest study into online Career Resources in Europe, based on data collected from the Comscore World Metrix audience measurement service.
According to the study, the online career resources category, which includes sites that provide services such as job search, resume posting and careers advice, grew 12 percent from August to September to reach 56.1 million European unique visitors.
The largest of these properties was Monster, which grew 19 percent to 7.8 million unique visitors - more than double that of its nearest competitors. Meanwhile, ANPE Sites (the largest career site in France), grew 19 percent to reach 3.2 million European unique visitors. It was followed by Stepstone, which grew 18 percent to reach 3.2 million unique visitors.
The fastest growing of the top five largest sites was CareerBuilder LLC, a U.S. originating property that has enjoyed steady traffic growth across Europe since establishing a U.K. presence in early 2006. The site grew 49 percent in September to 2.7 million unique visitors.
