John M. Green Brings to Comscore Outstanding Financial Management Experience
RESTON, Va., May 18, 2006 – Comscore Networks, the leader in measuring the Internet Age, today announced the appointment of John M. Green as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
An experienced financial executive, Mr. Green brings to Comscore a broad base of knowledge related to the management of successful, publicly held corporations. Mr. Green’s extensive experience with multi-national businesses, as well his work in several consumer-facing industries, will help support Comscore's rapid growth as it continues to expand its operations in the U.S. and internationally.
Mr. Green joins Comscore from Invitrogen, a publicly held global life sciences corporation with $1.2 billion in revenue, where he served as the CFO and U.S. Services Business Leader for BioReliance, a subsidiary of Invitrogen and the world’s largest biosafety testing and toxicology contract services company. At BioReliance, a company with 750 employees and $120 million in revenue, Mr. Green managed the global finance, legal compliance, information technology, and procurement functions. Prior to that role, Mr. Green was responsible for managing the integration, finance function and operations of strategically acquired business units for Invitrogen. Mr. Green joined Invitrogen as the COO and CFO of InforMax, a publicly held NASDAQ corporation, after it was acquired by Invitrogen in December, 2002.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Green honed his financial management, M&A and operations skills over a twenty-year period at multi-national, publicly held corporations including HMSHost Corporation, Marriott International and PepsiCo. Among other roles, Mr. Green served as Executive Vice President, Operations at HMSHost, Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Marriott and Director of Business Planning and Director of Finance, Central Europe, at PepsiCo.

Mr. Green earned a Masters of Science degree from the London School of Economics in London, England and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tufts University in Medford, MA.
