How Often Do French Smartphone Owners Access Automotive Sites?

Smartphone adoption in France continues to grow rapidly with a 29 percent increase in smartphone users over the year. There were 27.8 million French smartphone owners in the three month average ending April 2013 and accessing automotive services (such as automotive news/information or automotive buying) via their device is becoming a popular activity.

1.4 million French smartphone owners used their mobile to access automotive services at least once during the month of April 2013, which is a 43 percent increase compared to April last year. Interestingly, the number of smartphone owners accessing these services at least once each week has shown the most growth (up 59 percent), whilst the number of users accessing these services almost every day has increased by 23 percent.

During April 2013, Leboncoin, Lacentrale and Autoplus were the top 3 automotive sites for smartphone users in France.
